KAMLOOPS — The Paramount Theatre in downtown Kamloops will screen its last film on April 19.

Landmark Cinemas announced on their website they will cease operations at the downtown location.

The company’s website thanks moviegoers for their service over the years. Anyone who requires help with ticket or gift card refund can contact guest services here.

The Paramount Theatre located at 503 Victoria St. has been home to the Kamloops International Film Festival for several years.

There is no word yet on what will replace the theatre or how many jobs will be affected.
