Two separate incidents involving knife wielders in Kamloops occurred last weekend, one downtown and one on the North Shore.
Police were called to an area outside a business on Lansdowne Street on Saturday, Oct. 22, around 8:40 p.m.
A woman was allegedly robbed at knifepoint by a suspect known to her and to police, according to media release by the Kamloops RCMP.
Witnesses are asked to contact the detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2022-38014 if they know anything about the incident.
The next morning police responded to a report of a man chasing another man around with a knife on the 1000-block of Halston Avenue.
Police attended the area just before 8 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, where the suspect exited an apartment shortly after and was arrested without issue.
He was later released on conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
