A competition inspired by The Amazing Race TV show is coming to Kelowna in the fall.

City Spring Kelowna is an urban adventure event where competitors will have to navigate through the city completing physical and mental tasks and challenges, according to the event page.

The event is meant to be flexible so it's designed for all fitness levels and anyone can participate at their own pace.

Tickets for a group of four start at $100 for the early bird registration, but full price tickets are $160, or $40 per person. People can register as a team or as an individual.

On the day of the event teams will get a series of clues which will lead them to the various challenge locations. Using the clues teams will race from challenge to challenge and earn points for each one completed. After conquering the challenges teams have to race to the finish line where they will be awarded prizes based on their points.

The competition is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 28.
