The Kelowna Rockets defeated the Seattle Thunderbirds by a dominant score of 6-1 on Wednesday night at Prospera Place in Kelowna.

Calvin Thurkauf opened the scoring, putting home two goals in the first period. Rockets led 2-0 after one period.

Tomas Soustal put the Rockets up 3-0 early in the second before Seattle tried to stop the bleeding as they found the back of the net. The games three stars were:

  1. Calvin Thurkauf
