Colton Dach, the captain of the Kelowna Rocket who’s representing Team Canada at the World Junior Championships in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, suffered a serious injury during yesterday’s game against Sweden.

He can be seen checking an opposing player into the boards before falling to the ice, and he seems to have hurt his right arm in the collision.

Hockey Canada announced this morning that Dach will miss the remainder of the tournament due to the injury. He had two assists in four games. In the WHL, he has 17 points in 14 games this season. He was drafted 62nd overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in last year's entry draft.
