Kelowna RCMP search for person of interest in sexual assault case

Kelowna RCMP are trying to speak with a person of interest in a stranger sexual assault investigation.

A man was involved in an incident in the 200-block of Shepherd Road in Rutland around 11 p.m. on Friday, May 10, according to an RCMP press release.

The man is described as South Asian male, 5’10” to 6’ tall with a slim build and brown eyes. He was seen wearing a black tank top, beige shorts, Jordan shoes, a gold chain and a silver earring in his right ear.

The man interacted with several people at a business in the 100-block of Highway 33 shortly before midnight. RCMP don't identify the business nor to they say what the nature of the sexual assaults were.

Anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, or recognizes the man from the description, is asked to call Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 and reference the file number 2024-25008.
