The Kelowna RCMP is investigating a suspicious death after the body of a woman was found yesterday night.
Police officers were called to the 1800-block of Vasile Road in Kelowna, Oct. 29 just after 6 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found a vehicle with a body of a woman. Her death is believed to be suspicious, according to the RCMP's press release.
“Investigators from the Kelowna RCMP Serious Crime Unit have taken conduct of the investigation. Officers remain on scene collecting physical evidence and canvassing for witnesses and surveillance video. No arrests have been made at this time,” said Cpl. Jocelyn Noseworthy of the Kelowna RCMP, in the press release.
Further information, including the identity of the woman, is not being released by the RCMP.
The RCMP is asking for those who have information regarding the person's death to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300.
