RCMP are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 38-year-old homeless man in Kelowna.
Ryan Dean Tomlinson’s was reported missing to police on Dec. 14, according to an RCMP media release.
A member of his family contacted RCMP to say they had not spoken to him in an unusual period of time.
Tomlinson is known to spend his days in the Lower Mission area of Kelowna near Pandosy Street and KLO Road. He may also be in the city’s downtown.
RCMP describe Tomlinson as a 38-year-old Caucasian male, 5’7” tall, 150 lb. with balding short brown hair, hazel eyes and possibly a beard.
He may be wearing a black coat with a rip in the shoulder, blue or black jeans, beige skateboarding shoes, a black ball cap or beige toque.
Police said he carries a large blue hockey bag and may have a blue sleeping bag with him.
His family is concerned for his safety because it’s out of character for him to be out of touch with his friends and family for so long.
