Kelowna RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery that occurred early this morning.

Just before 1 a.m. today, Nov. 28, a man entered a business on the 3000 block of Gordon Drive and used what appeared to be a weapon as he demanded money. The suspect then fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male with a medium build. He was wearing a face-concealing black hooded zipper jacket, a white and black bandana on his head, grey pants and brown shoes.

“The investigation conducted by the Kelowna General Investigation Section has resulted in the gathering of evidence including video surveillance,” Kelowna RCMP Const. Solana Paré says in the release. “Investigators are looking for witnesses who may have seen the suspect from this video surveillance fleeing the scene.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Kelowna RCMP at 250-762-3300 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or online at www.solvecrime.ca.
