A Kelowna massage therapist won't be treating female patients anymore after two complaints.
The regulator for massage therapists ordered Adam Lariviere not to treat females and to post a notice at his workplace that warns the public of the new restriction as of Dec. 4.
The BC College of Massage Therapists notified the public of an investigation into Lariviere in October following a complaint from one patient.

It's not clear what he did, but Lariviere was alleged to have "failed to maintain professional boundaries" and "engaged in inappropriate conduct."
The first patient complained to the college on Aug. 30, but a second came forward after the college notified the public in October.

He's yet to have a hearing with the college to test the allegations, but the new complaints amount to alleged sexual misconduct and breaches of professional boundaries and consent standards.
