A Kelowna couple has been identified as the people killed in a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway in Kamloops earlier this week.
Robert and Tonya Kuchma from Kelowna died in the accident, according to family members.
Kamloops RCMP officers responded to the area of Grand Boulevard, Feb. 15, for a vehicle collision involving a jack-knifed semi-trailer which caused a partial closure of the East Trans-Canada Highway near Valleyview.

Police found a Toyota 4Runner in the eastbound ditch and a jack-knife semi trailer further down the highway when they arrived at the scene.
Two of the Toyota’s four occupants were deceased when police arrived. The other two were taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
Weather is believed to have been be a factor in the accident.
Anyone with dash camera footage of the Toyota 4Runner during or near the time of the crash is asked to contact the Kamloops RCMP and reference file 2021-4830.
