KELOWNA – Friday night’s concert in Kelowna could be the last for Canadian rock band Hedley.

Jacob Hoggard, Dave Rosin, Tommy Mac and Jay Benison have been dropped by their management team and blacklisted by radio stations after sexual misconduct allegations began surfacing online last month.

A performance in Windsor, Ont. was cancelled March 11 but according to their website, Hedley will make their final performance of their Cageless tour at Prospera Place, Friday, March 23.

Hoggard says, after the tour, he will “step away from (his) career indefinitely."

“I have never engaged in non-consensual sexual behaviour in my life. Ever,” he posted to Twitter Feb. 28. “However, over the last 13 years, I have behaved in a way that objectified women."

“It’s time for me to change. I’ve decided to step away from my career indefinitely. I will honour my commitments to this tour, then will be taking a serious step back in order to make real changes in my life, seek guidance from family and continue to grow and learn from the amazing women in my life.”

Tickets for the Kelowna performance are still available.
