A Kamloops resident was enjoying a cup of coffee in her backyard when she found out she'd won $50,000.
Tammy Blackie said she is riding a “crazy roller-coaster of emotions” after winning $50,000 from a Lucky Lines scratch and win ticket.
Blackie purchased the winning ticket from Canco Wash on Tranquille Road in Kamloops and was sitting in her backyard with her coffee when she scratched the ticket, according to a B.C. Lottery Corporation news release.
“I was like, ‘Oh my gosh!’ I could not believe it,” she said in the release.
With her winnings, she plans to buy a new phone and move to Penticton.
