Kamloops teased by sunshine this week

KAMLOOPS - A mild start to the week will give way to more seasonable temperatures, according to Environment Canada.

Kamloops will enjoy mostly sunny skies today, Nov. 21 and tomorrow. Although there is a 30 per cent chance of rain both days, high temperatures of 9 Celsius are comfortably above normals for late November.

Those mild temperatures won’t last through the week, however. Highs will drop to a more seasonal 5 C to 7 C, and the clouds will roll back in on Wednesday and Thursday. The forecast is calling for a return of the sun by Friday.

Overnight lows will hover between 0 C and 1 C for most of the week, and Thursday night will be wet.
