Students and staff at a Kamloops school were evacuated from the building due to a threat this morning.
Around 11 a.m. today, Nov. 5, Kamloops RCMP cleared the area and announced students and staff could return to NorKam Secondary School.
Not much is known about the nature of the threat, but it was reported to Kamloops RCMP around 8:15 a.m., according to an RCMP media release.
Police say the threat did not materialize and although the investigation is ongoing, it is deemed safe for students and staff to return.
Unconfirmed reports say a bomb threat was made to the school, but Kamloops RCMP have yet to confirm the nature of the threat.
