Kamloops RCMP tracking down hit and run driver

June 18, 2020 - 11:14 AM

Kamloops RCMP are investigating a hit and run on Seymour Street.

At 1 a.m. on June 18, police were called to the downtown area for reports of a collision, according to a media release from the Kamloops RCMP.

Police were notified that a person driving down the 600 block of Seymour Street crashed into a parked car and had flipped the one she was driving. The female driver had left the area by the time police arrived on scene.

Witnesses were able to give a description of the woman, although police have not yet determined her identity.

“At this time, the driver of the vehicle has not been identified,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in the release. “We do have the registered owner’s information and will be following up with them today for more information."
