KAMLOOPS - Kamloops RCMP received a call about an assault that took place this morning.
A media release says that at approximately 10:30 a.m. Kamloops RCMP received a call about a man receiving medical attention for some serious but non-life-threatening wounds.
The man had been attacked earlier this morning by a group of unidentified suspects.
The victim and the suspects may know each other. The attack happened behind 2535 Glenview Ave.
Police are at the scene of the incident collecting evidence.
While it appears the victim of this assault was targeted, police are not able to comment any further at this time due to the active investigation.
