Kamloops RCMP seeking armed robbery suspect

The McCleaners on Seymour Street in downtown Kamloops was robbed, Monday, Jan. 28, 2019 by a man with a knife and a hammer.

KAMLOOPS - A man armed with a knife and a hammer held up downtown Kamloopos laundromat and dry cleaner this morning.

RCMP say the armed robbery happened at about 11:30 a.m. today, Jan. 28, at the McCleaners on Seymour Street.

A man walked into the McCleaners brandishing a knife and a hammer, went to the cash register, grabbed money and took off on foot, according to an RCMP media release. The clerk wasn't physically harmed.

RCMP say the suspect is described as Caucasian or First Nations and about 5'10" tall. He was wearing a grey hoodie with stripes on the lower sleeves, jeans and black runners.
