Kamloops RCMP are on the hunt for two suspects involved in an armed robbery at a business this past weekend.

Police say the robbery happened at a business in the 1200 block of Summit Drive on Saturday, Jan. 2, around 6:10 p.m., according to an RCMP media release.

The suspect, who was wearing black clothing except his pants which were grey, approached the employee with a knife and demanded money, while the other suspect wearing a burnt orange Carhartt jacket  with a grey hoodie underneath, was armed with bear spray and guarded the door.

Both suspects were wearing masks.

The two men were confirmed to have been driving a stolen grey SUV, which had a loaded firearm inside when found unoccupied by police on the North Shore on Monday.

The vehicle is currently being analyzed by the Kamloops Forensic Identification Team.

If anyone has any information related to this file, or recognizes the suspects, contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000.
