KAMLOOPS - RCMP have identified the victim of last month's homicide in Kamloops.
Sean Dunn, 42, was killed during a fight on Tranquille Road in the early morning hours of Dec. 30, 2016.
Kamloops RCMP responded to a complaint of a fight near the 400 block of Tranquille Road and when first responders arrived they found Dunn unconscious on the ground. First aid was performed but he succumbed to his injuries.
The death appears to have stemmed from an argument between two people who became aquainted, possibly that night, at a local pub, according to RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie.
She says police do not see a threat to the general public and it appears to be an isolated incident.
All parties who were at the scene are being interviewed by investigators, she says.
