Kamloops RCMP on the hunt for two murder suspects

KAMLOOPS - Police in Kamloops are searching for two men after a murder in the tournament capital last Friday.

RCMP are asking for the public's assistance in locating two men wanted for the murder of Jason Glover.

At a news conference today, Feb. 20, Kamloops RCMP Sgt. Nestor Baird spoke to media about the double shooting at a residence on Tranquille Road on Friday, Feb. 15 where Glover was found shot, and later died of his injuries at the hospital.

Another victim was also shot and taken to the hospital but her condition at this time is not known.

Through investigation, police say they have identified Gordon Wayne Braaten and Hugh Alexander McIntosh as suspects. Both men have been charged each with murder and attempted murder.

Police say the suspects are from Kamloops but currently, their whereabouts are unknown. Both men were previously known to police and are involved in the local drug trade.

"It is believed this homicide was a targeted incident," Sgt. Baird said.

Braaten is described as Caucasian, 35-years-old, 6'0'' tall, 165 lbs., with short brown hair, green eyes and an athletic build.

McIntosh is described as Caucasian, 51-years-old, 5'8" tall, 190 lbs., with shaved or balding brown hair, green eyes and a medium build.

Police say the two men are considered armed and dangerous. If you know their whereabouts call 911 immediately and do no confront them, police say.
