Police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery of a Dominos Pizza in Kamloops last night.

Kamloops RCMP were called to Dominos Pizza at 875 Columbia St. when it was robbed at gunpoint around 10:55 p.m. Sept. 21, according to an RCMP media release.

The lone male suspect entered the business and approached an employee at the till, pointing what looked like a firearm and demanding cash.

The employee complied and the suspect grabbed the undisclosed amount of money from the register before leaving the scene.

He was last seen heading North on Columbia Street riding a small bike.

The male was described as Caucasian and approximately 5'4" tall wearing a dark jacket with three lines from the shoulder to the wrists, jeans and a square black bag with a shoulder strap (satchel).

"We are obviously taking this event very seriously, and hope that the pictures released will assist in identifying this suspect," RCMP Sgt. Mat Van Laer said in the release. "The employee responded the best he could, and we are very happy nobody got hurt."

The Kamloops RCMP is asking for anyone with any information about this robbery to call police at 250-828-3000.
