Kamloops Mounties have closed a street for a suspected bomb found in the area, the second in as many days.
Police said shortly after 11 p.m., July 4, they were called to the 2100 block of Sifton Avenue for the suspicious package and have closed roads in the area. The RCMP Explosive Device Unit is on its way to assess and dispose of the package.
It'll be a short turnaround trip.
Tuesday morning, the unit was in the Tournament Capital disposing of a pipe bomb found a day earlier. Police had closed a street in the Aberdeen neighbourhood after the improvised device was found on a roadway in the 900 block of Greystone Crescent.
