A 21-year-old Kamloops man has pleaded guilty of multiple charges of theft and breaking and entering.

Shane McLeod appeared in Kamloops court on Jan. 11 with intention to plead guilty.

Among other charges, McLeod was found guilty of two break and enter charges, two charges for possession of stolen property under $5,000 and breach of probation.

He was given a 223-day prison sentence and 12 months probation.

McLeod was arrested by Kamloops RCMP in September after a search warrant was executed in Brocklehurst and officers found thousands of dollars in stolen property including bikes and car stereos.
