A Kamloops man won $500,000 with a Lotto Max ticket last month.
Cory Turner matched 4/4 Extra numbers in the Oct. 18 draw, according to a BC Lottery Corporation media release.
He purchased the ticket online and also discovered he won by checking his lottery account.
Turner said his family was very excited to learn he’d won.
He plans to save the majority of the lottery prize for his retirement but not before he buys a new truck.
