Members of the Kamloops Long Blades excelled once again on the road this weekend, this time in skating competitions in Salmon Arm and Prince George.
Four members of the Kamloops Long Blades travelled to Prince George for the annual Central Interior Challenge. Isaiah Jessie Uribe (2 personal bests), Martina Antifay and Cameron Thomas (1 personal best each) and Rebecca Thomas competed at the challenge.
Meanwhile, fourteen members of the Kamloops Long Blades attended the 4th Annual Ice Jam competition in Salmon Arm on November 19th. An impressive number of personal bests were obtained and several skaters took home medals in their respective divisions. In Division 1, Kayleigh Roberts won a silver medal. In Division 2, Meena Litt won a gold medal. In Division 3, Nelson Smith won a silver medal. In Division 6, Vladimir Demishkevich won a silver medal. In Division 7, Holly Antifay won a gold.
The Kamloops Long Blades will be back on the road in two weekends traveling to Kelowna for the Kelowna Cup.
