If you’re a book worm in Kamloops, you likely know and love Barb's Used Books and Music Sale.

The annual event offers a massive selection of discounted books, vinyl records, DVDs, CDs and sheet music starting at just $2. This year they’re going to be running a smaller than usual summer popup due to COVID-19 safety restrictions.

The sale will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays beginning August 12. The event will wrap up at the end of August.

Customers who wish to attend the event must wear a mask and finish their shopping within 30 minutes, as only ten people will be allowed in the building at a time. Shoppers must follow the one-way arrows and are discouraged from paying with cash. You may bring your own bag but will have to bag your own items.

Although organizers usually accept book and music donations, they are not taking any this year due to limited space. The event will take palace at 6-510 Lorne St., across the courtyard in Station Plaza.
