Kamloops firefighters responded to a fire in a trailer loaded with wood palettes early this morning on the North Shore.

The blaze started this morning, Dec. 4, behind a building located at 268 Tranquille Rd.  Multiple firefighters attended the fire at approximately 7 a.m.

It was an exterior fire confined to a trailer that had some wood palettes, according to Kamloops Fire Rescue Platoon Capt. Darryl Cooper.

Nearby buildings did not sustain any damage, he adds.

Fire investigators will be on scene today to determine a cause.
