KAMLOOPS - Kamloops Fire Rescue responded to a shed fire on the North Shore this afternoon.

The blaze was at a shed in the 700 block of Courtney Crescent off 8 Street today, Oct. 1, but firefighters worked quickly to put out the flames.

The shed was left extensively damaged by the fire. RCMP on scene said two houses adjacent to the shed sustained heat damage from the fire.

No injuries were reported, according to police. Early reports indicate the fire started in nearby shrubs and trees and spread to the shed.
