Kamloops construction crews and highway maintenance workers will be saluting health care professionals tomorrow.

The Amber Light parade will begin just before 7 p.m. tomorrow, April 15, at the Sahali Mall in Kamloops before traveling down Columbia Street past Royal Inland Hospital, according to a Dawson Group media release.

The parade will be lead by Dawson Construction and Eagle Rock Construction in conjunction with the B.C. Road Builders and Heavy Construction Association.

Crews will observe physical distancing regulations throughout the event, and be limited to only the driver in each vehicle.

Approximately 30 vehicles are expected to participate to show appreciation for the efforts of nurses, doctors and other care workers who are putting themselves at risk on the front lines, the release states.
