A utility trailer was lit on fire with some sort of incendiary device in Kamloops on the weekend and the arson may be connected to the ongoing gang conflict.

Officers were called to the suspicious trailer fire at a home on 10 Street which is known to police, according to an RCMP media release issued today, May 23.

The trailer fire was called in at around 8:15 a.m. Sunday, May 19, and RCMP said it appeared someone had thrown an “incendiary device” to start the blaze.
