KELOWNA - Legendary professional wrestler Jake "The Snake" Roberts is trading the wrestling ring for the stand-up stage and bringing his special brand of comedy to Kelowna.
That includes his behind-the-scenes tales of life on the road as a professional wrestler with World Wrestling Entertainment and taking on the likes of Andre the Giant, Macho Man and Ravishing Rick Rude.
A meet-and-greet with Jake will take place after the show, which is a production of Train Wreck Comedy and Power 104.
Unspoken Word: Stories from the Road is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 1 in the Okanagan Room of the Sandman Hotel on Highway 97.
Tickets $30 plus tax and are available online only at eventbrite.ca or through trainwreckcomedy.com.
