WEST KELOWNA - Music and comedy are on the bill for the Bull Mountain Awesome City Limits party next month.
Formerly known as the Crystal Mountain Ski resort, Don Journeay and Jenny Giesbrecht have been working to get the hill open on a limited basis this winter.
“We’re sure a lot of you are curious about what we’ve been up to,” they wrote in a social media post. “While we’re working hard to reopen the ski hill, we’re also working to keep our community involved. And we like to have fun. So we’re throwing a concert.”
Six bands are scheduled to play including The Hip Replacements, Rockaholicks, Linus, Psycherelics, Sugar Coated Killers and Ramones Cover with comedy by Andrew Crone, Caleb Campbell and Tax McNally.
Tickets cost $50 through Eventbrite here and you must be over 19 years of age to attend.
Gates will open at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5. Bull Mountain is at the end of Glenrosa Road above West Kelowna.
