KELOWNA - UBC Okanagan has booked one of the most popular Asian performers for what organizers are calling the biggest formal event Kelowna has ever seen.
The South Asian Alliance is presenting international music icon Imran Khan at the Laurel Packing House March 17. This formal all ages event starts at 6 p.m. and includes dinner, Bhangra performances and a dance.
During the dance, Khan will perform hits like Satisfya and Amplifier on his only stop in B.C. from 8:30 p.m. until after midnight.
There will also be a 19+ bar serving alcohol and a limited number of discounted student tickets available.
Tickets can be purchased at GreenText Used Bookstore on campus or online, and there will also be VIP front row tickets available, which include a chance to meet Khan in person.
