Ashcroft residents will have to go to the hospital in Kamloops if they need healthcare today.

Interior Health announced the Ashcroft Urgent and Primary Care Centre will not be open for the day. Limited nursing availability is the explanation.

The facility’s normal hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday.

Interior Health reminds British Columbians about access to non-emergency healthcare information by calling HealthLink BC at 8-1-1, or going to www.HealthLinkBC.ca.
