A much-loved interactive Christmas display is up and running for the holiday season in Kamloops and the event dates for the rest of the month have been released.

Whoville is set up at the Kamloops Powwow Arbour with its cast of characters like Cindy-Lou, the Grinch and Max the Dog ready to entertain children and families while the original cartoon version of the Grinch plays on a large screen. There is a warming station and hot chocolate available.

“A huge thank you to Tk?emlúps te Secwépemc for allowing us back,” reads a recent social media post. "I cannot express my gratitude enough that you have embraced our event and make us feel so welcome."

Founded and run by Kamloops residents Randy and Sue Adams, Who-Ville is a free event and also a fundraiser for children’s literacy where guests are encouraged to donate gently used children’s books when they attend or make a small donation that will go to Literacy in Kamloops.

"With the generous sharing of this location by Tk?emlúps te Secwépemc we are teamed with Daybreak Rotary, Cooper Equipment, Interior Display, and many volunteers in support of Literacy in Kamloops to make this a December Family event unlike any other," said the post.
