BC Emergency Health Services responded to Red Plateau Forest Service Road with two ambulances and took the rider to hospital after providing some treatment at the scene, according to an emailed statement.

The provincial agency didn't provide any details about the rider or their injury.

There are multiple mountain bike trails in the Tranquille and Dewdrop area, and it's not clear exactly where mountain biker was injured.
