Incumbent Coldstream mayor wins by a landslide

COLDSTREAM - With only one other competitor for the Coldstream mayor's seat, voters chose Jim Garlick to take it once again.

Mayor Garlick took over the competition, Bill Firman with 82.6 per cent of the votes. Garlick's total came up to 2,154 votes and Firman's clocked in at 419.

There are two new faces on city council and the rest are incumbent.

Here are the results according to Civicinfo:

Council

Ruth A Hoyte 1,862 71.4%

Pat M Cochrane (Patrick Maurice Cochrane) 1,828 70.1% Incumbent

Doug G Dirk (Douglas Garth Dirk) 1,801 69% Incumbent

Stephanie A Hoffman 1,658 63.5%

Richard J Enns 1,629 62.4% Incumbent

Glen A Taylor 1,587 60.8% Incumbent
