West Kelowna’s Westside Daze had a drone show as Saturday’s grand finale, and it went off without a hitch.
Many observers were in awe but some commented there was something missing, sound.
While there was music accompanying the show, it wasn’t audible outside the fairgrounds, and fireworks have somewhat conditioned people to expect booms to go along with a nighttime light show.

North Star Entertainment’s drone ballet went smoothly when other drone shows around the province have recently been cancelled like Vernon's Canada Day show.
The show lasted about ten minutes and the drones took shape into dancing figures, a filled glass of wine, rainbow spirals, and more.
