Waterspouts were spotted in several places on Okanagan Lake on Monday morning and luckily several people had their phones out to record them.
Waterspouts typically form when cold air moves across a body of water resulting in a significant temperature difference between the water and cold air, and can last up to 20 minutes, the National Weather Service website said.
Krystylyn Schillaci shared the performance the water spouts were putting on Monday morning on Facebook.
This is the first year Schillaci has seen them in her eight years of living in the Okanagan, but she has heard from others living lakeside they are common during extremely cold periods.
