Step back in time to 1958, where tail fenders were the popular style of vehicles driving through the streets of the Interior.

Canadian Mortor Sports / Reel Life recently published two YouTube videos, one of a drive to Kamloops in 1958 and another driving video along Highway 97, through Vernon.

The Paramount Theatre in Kamloops on Victoria Street can still be seen to this day and is highlighted in the Kamloops video.

In 1958, Vernon had roughly 9,000 people, according to the YouTube video. Many stores can be seen on either side of the highway.
