Police are looking for a man who kicked a youth in the head in a Kamloops park as he tried to break up a fight.

A video posted to social media shows two teens wrestling and throwing punches as a man approaches from out of frame to kick one in the head. He called on the children to stop the fight before bringing it to an abrupt end with his foot.

The bystanders yell and one calls on someone to call police in the video posted to social media last week.

Kamloops RCMP said a 14-year-old was kicked in the face on April 4 and they're now looking for him as part of an assault investigation.

They described him as being around 35 years old with white skin and a reddish beard.
