A Williams Lake buck found itself wound up in the ropes of a toboggan recently.

The B.C. Conservation Officer Service responded to a call involving a deer that had gotten its antlers tangled up, according to a Facebook post by the B.C. Conservation Officer Service.

A hiker came across the deer and reported to the RAPP line. After tranquilizing the deer and cutting from the rope, officers watched the deer prance away.

“While Conservation Officers have seen deer caught up in netting, hammocks and even Christmas lights, this was a first for the Williams Lake Conservation Officers,” the post says.
