A mysterious metal monolith has been reported sitting atop a bluff near Kamloops.
Photographer Matt Lazzarotto discovered a large metal monolith on the bluffs near Batchelor Heights while hiking and has posted a video he took.
Appearing and disappearing monoliths are one of the stranger trends of 2020, which started when a monolith was found in Utah's red-rock desert, Nov. 18. The monolith disappeared shortly after its discovery, and more have popped up around the world.

In the video, Lazzarotto said he's seen a truck parked at that location at night for the past week.
“As long as I don’t get beamed up Scotty, we’re good,” Lazzaroto quips in the video.
Another video, of what appears to be the same monolith, was posted by YouTube user ItaComedian who claims to have discovered it on Dec. 4.
