KAMLOOPS - Police in Kamloops are searching for the person who stole a guitar that was on display at a local pub last month.
The Office Pub and Grill manager Carlos Singh says the guitar was stolen on Oct. 30.
Singh says the pub's video surveillance caught a man yanking the guitar off the wall and ultimately walking away with it.
"It's a Budweiser guitar that had been on display here for about three or four years," Singh says.
Kamloops RCMP media spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says the theft was reported to them yesterday, Nov. 26, and the investigation is ongoing.
Singh says a woman has come forward to identify the man in the video, but police say they are still investigating.
"We are still looking for suspects until we have positively identified the person who stole the item," Shelkie says.
The restaurant shared the video to their Facebook page and has been viewed more than 18,000 times so far.
