Kamloops firefighters made quick work of a brush fire in Brocklehurst this morning.
A video posted online shows the fire along Tranquille Road near Southill Street at around 8:30 a.m. today, May 31. A cedar shrub burned near a condo building, according to Jan Nademlejnsky who posted it to YouTube.
Kamloops Fire Rescue was not immediately available to provide details about the fire but the video shows a small crew doused the blaze before it spread to the building.
The fire comes in the wake of a several fires in the past two months across the city.
Two men have already been charged with arson, with one for downtown dumpster fires and another for setting multiple blazes in North Shore alleyways.
It's not clear whether today's fire has been deemed suspicious.
Kamloops RCMP did not immediately respond and it's not clear whether police were called to the scene.
