A Kamloops driver was unexpectedly cut-off and forced onto the median by a truck driver yesterday and he's hoping to raise some awareness with video of the incident.

Dash cam footage submitted to the driver by witness Chris Martin shows a dark coloured Chevrolet truck come up behind her vehicle, skirt around and cut her off.

"It was scary that’s for sure," driver Keanna Savage said. "He flew past me, pushed my car over onto the median, then slammed on his brakes trying to get me to hit him."

The incident occurred shortly after 2 p.m. yesterday, Oct. 1 just past the Halston bridge on the North Shore.

She said the truck sped away, and she didn't get a chance to record the license plate.

"I'm super lucky Chris Martin stopped and gave us the footage from his dash cam," she said. "We are still looking for a plate number, there was damage to my car."

If you recognize the truck click here to message Savage on Facebook.
