You're probably thinking of your next vacation while waiting is self-isolation and Destination B.C. wants to remind you what's available right outside your day — once pandemic restrictions are lifted.
They're urging you to 'dream now and explore British Columbia later' with a new social media initiative.
The content provides viewers with an opportunity to check out videos of provincial sights and attractions in order to help them plan their next vacation in the province.
“While we are all passionate about exploring B.C., now is not the time to travel, and we know that too many Canadians are continuing to travel and gather for leisure purposes,” Destination British Columbia communications specialist Kristen Learned said in an email. “Our tourism industry partners from across the province are also sharing the sentiment, and we are all working together to amplify our collective voice."
The #exploreBClater content is featured across the Destination B.C. channels, for both consumer and industry audiences.
