A television ad promoting two former Kelowna tourist attractions has been dug out the archives, or maybe a dusty box in someone's basement.

The ad includes clips from the very popular Flintstones Bedrock City, along with one of two waterparks in the Kelowna area at the time, Wild Waters.

The other waterslide park was Wild n' Wet in Westbank.

The recording, taken from a VHS tape, was posted to YouTube by Erich Neumann, Oct. 4.

"Do you remember going here? Found this ad on a very old VHS that I found in my collection. More to come," Neumann wrote in his YouTube post.

Bedrock City was a popular tourist attraction in the 1970s through to the late 1990s and was located on McCurdy Road and Highway 97 North before it became the McCurdy Corner Shopping Centre. It officially closed in 1998.

Wild Waters was right next door and operated from 1981 to 1998.
