Build Kamloops 'yes' campaign works behind the scenes, 'no' campaign dodges transparency
"Behind the scenes " is also a lack of transparency, Levi. And I can see why the City has kept the pro PAC lobbying quiet. I bet taxes are going to go up even if the PAC support group secures those funds from the people who should be paying for the PAC in the first place. I haven't seen anywhere that should the wealthy patrons in this town step up the perpetual increase to taxes on the rest of us will be reduced or eliminated. A city government which can't be trusted will still find a way to funnel our money if that loan is approved. Now THAT is a lack of transparency.
